Vertigo

Vertigo is a large yet extremely lightweight pendant luminaire by designer Constance Guisset. It is not only the weight that is light, but also the appearance of the luminaire. Vertigo consists of a large number of movable struts that cast a diffuse shadow pattern as soon as they are illuminated by the light. Due to its light weight and considerable size, Vertigo moves gently to the rhythm of the wind. The luminaire turns leisurely around itself in the air stream and appears to flow, while the flexible shade tilts and bends at the same time. With its curved shape, Vertigo visually envelops the area below and creates a calm and intimate atmosphere with its gentle movements.Despite its size, Vertigo by designer Constance Guisset is neither heavy nor cumbersome. The lightweight luminaire structure is made of fiberglass, steel and polyurethane.
