Groundpiece, the undisputed bestseller of the Flexform collection, is low and has a deep seat, creating a relaxing, informal resting place. Groundpiece is the quintessence of comfort in the Flexform sense and is particularly welcoming and inviting with its expansive down cushions.

With Groundpiece, Flexform has responded to the changing use of a sofa: Resting, watching TV, reading, but also working or dining. Therefore, the concept of the armrest has been changed, which in Groundpiece can either be upholstered or serve as a container, made of metal with core leather upholstery, creating a practical storage surface with compartments for placing objects.

Groundpiece offers very personalized upholstery options, down upholstery, also in the "Premium" version or with Dacron.

Flexform is a 3rd generation family business. In 1959, the Galimberti brothers founded a craft business in the Brianza district of northern Italy, which they called Flexform di Galimberti.
