S 64 V EDITION JIL SANDER

With the exclusive JS . THONET collection, Jil Sander ventures into the world of furniture design for the first time – reinterpreting two 20th-century icons in collaboration with Thonet in a new, exceptionally precise way: the S 64 cantilever chair and the B 97 table set, both designed by Marcel Breuer in 1928.

In the SERIOUS line, the classic S 64 cantilever chair is reimagined with a high-gloss titanium-look frame. It is available with leather-covered seat and back cushions in four colors or with elegant, dark-stained cane weave DARK MELANGE. The wooden frames and armrests are high-gloss lacquered to match.

The NORDIC line lends the design classic a new, subtle and natural aesthetic: the frame in warm, matte nickel silver finish is paired with light materials. The S 64 is available with white-pigmented oak and light cane weave or with leather upholstery.

Jil Sander’s signature meets Bauhaus icons. Both editions show: Jil Sander’s design perspective brings a new sensitivity to the language of the Bauhaus originals. Each design was further developed in close collaboration with the Thonet design team, with every detail carefully refined.
