Crafted under the artistic vision of the legendary Paavo Tynell, the 1972 pendant showcases an exquisite conical shade fashioned from bamboo, skillfully shaped by master artisans. Meticulously hand-sewn bamboo slats create a beautifully pleated mat, secured by hand to the wire frame and adorned with a delicate linen liner in between. This thoughtful arrangement guides the light gracefully downward, while simultaneously crafting a mesmerizing diffuse glow around the shade and upward as the light gently permeates through the bamboo slats.

For larger rooms requiring a grander statement centerpiece, a Ø90cm edition of the 1972 Pendant is available, fitted with three bulb housings. Every pendant is a craft masterpiece, with subtle, but highly complex and difficult-to-achieve details, including hand-punched brass perforations and hand-sewn bamboo slats in impressive scale.
