Flos is the pioneer of Italian design lighting and one of the most important design labels in the world. The range extends from decorative lighting to architectural masterpieces. In addition, the designs are innovative piece by piece, without losing sight of functionality and quality. The beginnings of Flos came from an ingenious idea: starting from a light bulb to create objects that would change lives on both the Italian and foreign markets. Dino Gavina and the small iron wedge factory in Merano had already designed furniture alongside design masters such as Afra and Tobia Scarpa. The Castiglioni brothers and the Scarpa duo began creating lamps such as Taraxacum and Fantasma. From the very first day, Flos reinvented the idea of artificial lighting.
