Here, Charles and Ray Eames appear in animated discussion on the porch of their home in California. The American architect and designer couple continues to inspire the design scene with their functional designs to this day and is part of the basis of the design philosophy for us. The Bel Etage is a representative old building apartment, typical of the upper middle-class neighborhoods around Hamburg's Outer Alster at the turn of the last century. Large, bright, representative rooms that flow into each other alternate with smaller rooms that are more of a retreat. A unique combination.
