Santa & Cole was founded in 1985 by Javier Nieto Santa, Gabriel Ordeig Cole and Nina Masó and has been based in La Roca in Barcelona ever since. The founders set themselves the goal of enriching people's everyday lives with beautiful furnishings. Their intention was to counter the cool halogen light that prevailed in the 1980s with graceful lamps that radiate warmth and comfort. From the very beginning, the young businessmen placed emphasis on quality rather than quantity, which is still reflected today in the choice of materials. The materials are carefully selected, tested for sustainability and sourced mainly from Spanish suppliers. It is not only the in-house production and collaboration with numerous talented designers that contribute to Santa & Cole's success.
