When you walk into a medical practice and your facial features already begin to relax before the doctor has even lifted a finger, then everything was right long before the treatment began. In the case of Dr. Anna Brandenburg, it was the perfect combination of an inspired interior designer, a client with the courage to embrace the extraordinary, and a chemistry between the two that simply cannot be planned — you can only feel it. The result: you sit in the waiting area and smile. Completely without aesthetic treatment.
Back to stories

Anyone treated here is in good hands. And in even better spaces. Neither is a coincidence.

The goal was nothing less than creating the most beautiful medical practice in Hamburg – and it is fair to say: they succeeded. Interior designer Torben Wolter / Der Neue Beckmann created spaces that continue the design language of the existing interiors while reimagining it with greater boldness. More experimental. More daring. More beautiful. Wallpapers you would never expect in a medical practice, design highlights that demand a second look, and an atmosphere that feels like a perfectly dressed living room.

Feminine, but not overtly feminine. Sophisticated, mature, and elegant – without drifting even a millimeter toward Barbie aesthetics. The fact that the very first concept was implemented immediately says everything about the trust between the designer and the client, Dr. Anna Brandenburg. Some chemistry simply works – in the waiting area just as much as in the treatment room.

What is merely a transitional space elsewhere becomes a small cabinet of curiosities at Dr. Brandenburg’s practice. Two bathrooms, two entirely different wallpaper worlds – one opulent and baroque, with blossoms that seem almost to emerge from the walls, the other delicate and painterly, as if someone had softly brushed an iris summer garden across the surface. Elegant wall lights and an unconventional mirror complete the composition, visually doubling the space once again.

You step into a hideaway. And for a moment, you forget that you are actually in a medical practice.

Three locations. Ten years. And always evolving a little further.

What began as a single practice has become an entire universe: three addresses across Hamburg, more than 330 square meters, grown from one idea and an unusually enduring trust between designer and client. Those who look closely will notice the recurring threads that tie everything together – the yellow USM Haller as a playful counterpoint in every cosmetics room, the pink Victor Foxtrot elements echoing throughout the interiors, the armchair paired with a rug and side table as a quiet invitation to pause, the same curtains bringing everything into harmony. Carefully composed, yet never rigid.

We’ve come a long way – and you can see it.
